Staffed by local and friendly Porto Crew surfers, El Porto Surf Shop is stoked to welcome individuals from nearby and all over the world to our surf community. El Porto Surf Shop provides all essentials for all willing persons to go surfing right now, all day, every day. 

Open 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, 7 days a week. El Porto Surf Shop closes at 1pm on Thanksgiving and is closed on Christmas Day.

Owner, Woodrow Pack Landfair aka Packman Surfs The World purchased El Porto Surf Shop in 2017 and moved to El Porto from the east coast to surf everyday and keep the shop independently and locally owned. El Porto Surf Shop has been serving locals and world traveling surfers for 27 years, in the El Porto neighborhood directly above El Porto Beach.

Woodrow Pack Landfair aka Packman Surfs The World is the owner of El Porto Surf Shop, as well as an adventurer, author, surfer, entrepreneur, and world-recognized connoisseur of cannabis and magic mushrooms. Pack is 14 countries deep on a quest to surf all 182 coastal nations of planet earth. The first 19 countries of that journey - the people met and philosophies learned along the way - are the subject of Pack's second book Here To Surf Vol. 1 in bookstores December 2024. His articles about surfing the world, and other matters, appear in the HighTides Journal print and online editions.
